smh last year me...you couldva done better with those colors...Star Hoshiko is the orginal MVP tho still
BUT omfg its almost been 10 yrs since I drew the original now im gonna cry...
the first one was done in gimp, the second in paint tool sai, and this one was done in clip paint studio which is like my New Ace program (well, I mean, its more geared towards manga making so coloring in it had a learning curve, but now I think I know most the stuff in it I feel better about it...)
I honestly redid this bc I was feeling kinda..bad at my art and felt like I havent really learned anything from last yr...which isn't true ig but I felt like I was in a rut so..this was pretty self indulgent but yknow. it made me feel better

Sometimes it's hard to look at an amazing artist, like yourself, and
realize that they had to start out somewhere too.
And comparing your new art to your old art is always really encouraging.

It actually looks very similar to the first drawings I made of mew mews, when I was
about 11. XD
I haven't improved as much as you though. 
That's a pretty good saying. XD We all get somewhere if we keep trying,
but you're probably my favourite mew mew artist! I say probably because I've not
seen every artist in the world. XD

It had all of the same mistakes, the only difference is that I drew it on lined paper with coloured pencils.
Your design is much better than mine was as well.
If I ever find those pictures I'll scan them in to show you. XD
They're probably in my flat though so it will be in January if I do, I'm staying at my parent's home for Christmas.
And of course, your art is amazing and beautiful. I have no doubt seeing this image above that you'll continue to improve.

I...actually loved the color choices in the 2015 version. They're bright, simple, and fun! Combined with the anime-styled drawing and the white outline, it feels to me like something that should be on the cover of a comic.

I still love that version too! I feel like the newer one looks more stylized and stuff, but I still def love the old one as well, both are extreme improvements from 2007!

Love seeing awesome improvement like this! Love miss sparkle pants, betcha she's good in a fight against evil, cause's sparkles wins against everything! I've always been tempted to do this, I could use some seriously old pictures cause I've got all the ones I had when I was like 10+ but I'm always like Na I don't wanna burn anyone's eyes XD
