Look at the size of the glass viewing area for the pilots.
It's as big as a hind, and without the added protection of being a moving, flying vehicle.
They'd be setting themselves up for anti-material fire.

Yeah that's what I thought as well. Plus the cockpit is wayyy up, making for easy hits too.
I think the cockpit design of this mech is more for like, construction work mechs lmao.
I think mechs with armored, closing cockpits are best. "A hardcase" of sorts.

Indeed, though if this was meant for urban/police situations I'd imagine bullet resistant glass would be sufficient.
As I very much doubt criminals/smugglers/rioters would have anything military-grade.

That's the damning thing about it.
Every aspect of it shouts "military use" yet most of what it would be used for would be a detriment to the operators/pilots.

Yeah, though this is one of those movie grade mechs. Not exactly about the functionality in any case.
I personally like to think about functional designs, I'm not that good at art though.

Especially at that height, and now that I think of it, with the long flat expanses only cut short by dunes that can be used as sniper emplacements, and mountain ranges, not in that biome.
