When looking at this I get this feeling of destructive peace (much like water). The look on her facial expression starts out as peaceful, but then almost looks like she's challenging you, which I love. Also, with the way her eyes are looking in the distance helps to add depth to painting, drawing the audience in. All I got to say is, this really needs to be a print...

I love how her fin blends with her hair and how the scales blend in, like she'd look like a normal human from a distance, though I suppose that's how they lure sailors
