Wow, it's finally done. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Nega Duck as a Super Smash Bros Trophy! This was made for Akuma's Darkwing Duck contest ( [link] )I drew this by hand, scanned it, and then subjected it to some heavy digital reworking. The work you see here is the result of over twelve hours of work (as in, much, much more) and is my most satisfying deviation so far.

I see. So he's essentially an evil clone of Darkwing. That explains the resemblance he shares with the show's protagonist.

Yeah, I haven't seen all the DD episodes, but essentially there's an opposite universe where everyone good is evil, and everyone evil is good (except for Gosalyn, where they just flip her sassy demeanor for a sacharine one).
Drake Mallard, being the somewhat inept paragon-of-good, Darkwing Duck, in the Duckverse, is the supreme master of evil, Nega Duck, in the Negaverse.

Thanks very much. The initial sketch I made wasn't that great (it was missing the cape and had the same weird eyes seen here [link] ), but I put a good deal of effort into digitally correcting it, and I'm happy about the way it turned out.

I would, but I can't draw cute worth crackers. Most of creations end up looking either demented or malicious. Goslyn doesn't deserve that.

I wasn't really intending too. The whole smash theme was more a matter of finding a background for an awkward pose. My eyes also can't take much more of this computer screen for a while.
Although, now that I've got the made the layout and Trophy base, it should much easier should I decide to make one in the future.
Anyway, thanks for responding and complimenting my work. It means a lot to have it come from an avid DW fan.
