Fantastic piece I commissioned some time ago. Artist & stock account long-gone, sadly. No 'mature' tag because you can't see anything that's not on broadcast network TV.It's a photomanipulation people...not real!! This is how Ariel should've looked when Ursula gave her legs!
Also, this is what Aquaman's old girlfriend Dolphin looked like, as well as Fathom from the Comico series 'Elementals,' & lastly Marrina from 'Alpha Flight.' Comic fish-girls set in human form...git yer minds outta the gutter!! Mermaids can have legs, too...they've just gotta have webbed toes to complete the fishy look! Maybe she's from Innsmouth? H.P. Lovecraft would be proud! I could tint her skin blue & call her Lagoona from Monster High! ...The Creature's niece. See, lots of 'webbed' babes to be found!!IF YOU CAN PHOTOSHOP LIKE THIS, send me a note...I might commission YOU next time

Yes, I like Lovecraft's work! 'Dagon' was a cool movie...wish the lead female character had webbed hands like most of the townspeople. I'm particularly fond of the more lovely-looking girls of Innsmouth. Mostly human looking, but with webbed hands & feet, & gills in their necks. That's kind of what I model the looks of my Naiads on. I'm thrilled to read your piece!! Use any other images in my gallery that suit your needs.

Yeah but... I agree that it is done well. But taking a picture off of google images/tumblr/whatever, and then just changing it (Like all of those breast/butt enlargement things), is not exactly art IMO. It's just screwing around on photoshop for pervy reasons.

The source image was from a dA stock account that has since disappeared. The manipulation artist I commissioned has gone, too. It was an amazing job!

Opinions. They differ. The higher positive opinion of a piece, the more likely it is to appear on the front page. It isn't up to the artist. It isn't up to the staff. It's all up to those who view and like it.

Well you can't really say it was done for pervy reasons since we don't actually know why they decided to make it.
However, it's pretty impressive lol. Making good photomanip to the point of looking grossly real is not an easy task
and requires a bit of skill to get away with it. So imo it's not the usual art I like but still a form of art nonetheless.

It's not just someone's mutant foot, it's a photo manipulation. It's not just a picture, and even if it was, it could still be considered a form of art in my opinion.
