Description
Spend some days editing the drawing "Assimilate" [link] for the album cover. I thought maybe you would like to see the result. I didn't want to update the original pencil drawing with this one.I recolored the blacks fixed some dust etc and scan errors and did things with color levels.
Black borders and text "artwork by..." will not be visible on cover.
Original made with pencils (110 hours). Size 58 cm x 17 cm

Thank you very much! Yeah I hear often I got a lot of patience but that's not always true and only with art. But even with art I have to train myself not want to have it finished the same day.

Only got patience when creating art, probably compensating the patience I don't have for all the other things
No I create art when I'm sober. If I smoke weed I wont be very active and rather play videogames

Lucky. I have the problem of wanting to finish things as quickly as possible. So sometimes my work comes out half-assed. I'd love to have the patience to sit there for hours day after day and work on a single project. In any case, awesome work.

Well the hardest part for me is the last 20%. In that phase I want to have it finished but mostly work on shading etc which takes a lot of time and energy and less creativity. I start a lot of new projects every time so if I'm out of patience I work on another one. Don't want to rush it because I wont be happy with it. Maybe you should work on multiple projects. And yes it is hard but I also trained myself having patience.
