First let me start off by saying I really like how you did the arcade machines in this picture. Every thing looks really well done and the mix of movie screen shot and actual drawing blends very very well. The kids playing the game look nice as well.
I don't really see any thing wrong with this picture to critique though so sorry about that. I will say though that the lighting is very nice on every thing and to keep up the good work as well.
Every thing blends pretty well. While it may not be the most original idea it is executed perfectly. The technique is pretty good as well and it has a huge impact.

Mixing the old with the new. I must say, it's not a first, but this particular vision is! Growing up with shows like "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?" definitely brings back my childhood memories. The nostalgia trip is nice. Mixing it in with "Wreck-It Ralph", a movie dedicated to old-school gamers such as myself, just adds to that element.
The Vision: Stunning. It definitely evoked emotion from me and just brought me back to a simpler time. 5 stars easily!
Originality: Like I said, it's not a first. This sort of thing has been done before. Not WTWCS mixed with WIR particularly, but something like this has been done before. 4 stars for pulling it off impeccably, though!
Technique: Having the kids play Sugar Rush, perhaps in a moment of down time that they don't have to find Carmen, brings the ingenuity to the table on this one. The technique in which it is applied appeals to late '80s and early '90s viewers in a way that reminds them that they grew up with arcade games and watched cartoon shows like WTWCS. again, it brings back the nostalgia. 4 1/2 stars!
Impact: I absolutely love the idea! Who could say no to this alternate universe? Before I even read the description, I thought this was just a shot out of the actual movie "Wreck-It Ralph". But considering I saw the movie a week after it was out in theaters, I was confused, as I didn't remember this screen shot, so I had to know more and read the description. You made this piece believable and remarkable! Great job! 4 1/2 stars!

"Moment of downtime that they don't have to find Carmen"? The girls playing "Sugar Rush" in the picture are V.I.L.E. agents- that is, they work for Carmen. So more like downtime when they're not stealing monuments or serving time in jail.

If you mean who is actually playing the game with Patty in the "real world", that's Sarah Nade, another of Carmen Sandiego's henchpeople. Both appeared in the "Where in the World..." game show from the '90s (thought their names have also been used elsewhere in the "Carmen" franchise on other characters that are only somewhat similar at best)- Sarah was introduced in season 3 and Patty was around since the beginning.Β However, if you mean which racer Patty (or Sarah for that matter) is using, that is whoever anyone who sees this wants it to be.

Where in the World game show was great, I liked how Rockapella did Double Trouble.Β but yes, I'm rather versed in those and wanted to go on it as a kid, but couldn't. I miss Lynn Thigpen. the only part of the "Carmen" that I didn't like was "Where in Time". and if you watch Qubo, you can still catch Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego
