Description
One of the founding members of the West Coast Avengers, Mockingbird! The former SHIELD agent and former wife of Hawkeye was always a handful to deal with for the bad guys. I always liked her telescoping battle staves that could connect into a bo staff; neat weapon. For those who don't know, she's a regular on the "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" tv show (and she kicks plenty of booty).Mockingbird belongs to Marvel Comics.

In the comics, yes she was. They are no longer married because she was thought to be dead and was legally declared as such, so their marriage ended. Turns out she was kidnapped and replaced with a Skrull (who died in her place).

That is a beautiful picture. Love the detail you used giving her the French pedi. Very cute.
You know, I'm old enough to remember the days pre VCR and internet when all a young foot fan had to look forward to those extremely rare occasions when female comics characters would go barefoot. I don't recall Mockingbird ever shedding her boots in the comics, so a real big thanks for this.
BTW, I've only recently discovered your work and have been looking back through your gallery. Do you mind comments on some of your older work or do you just like to get comments on the new stuff.

Yeah, I recall those bygone days myself. Seems like a lifetime ago now! I got impatient waiting to see superheroines (and villainesses) go barefoot, so I guess I took it upon myself to get that ball rolling. LOL
Please feel free to comment on anything you'd like; old or new. I like to hear what others think and sometimes I can even draw (no pun intended) some inspiration for poses/characters/pictures from stuff I read.
