Probably the most requested heroine to appear in the Bootless Series, the She-Hulk! I decided to go with her Fantastic Four uniform so the FF can have a little more representation in this series. It looks like the She-Hulk knows what you assorted fiends want to see. Such a tease!She-Hulk belongs to Marvel Comics.

The fact that her costume during the time she was a member of the FF included boots was a titanic offense to good taste. Seeing this piece (fantastic, BTW ), I think your opinion on the matter mustn't be all that removed from mine. Β

Absolutely! Footwear was invented because walking barefoot on the naked ground was rough for the soles, but she's nigh-invulnerable, so she should have no issues being barefoot at all times! Β

To be fair, she was barefoot often in the Sensational She-Hulk issues that John Byrne wrote and drew. I never minded that

I have the entire series (the issues written and drawn by Big John) in omnibus volume, so I'm very well aware of that.Β Of course, sometimes it looked as if he just wanted to do a pin-up collection of his favourite Emerald Giantess, so in a few occasions clothes in general were a bit thin on the ground in those comics (who could ever forget Shulkie jumping rope for seven pages? )

A classic issue! Yeah, JB knew what we wanted to see and didn't mind showing it to us. Unfortunately, that title would never sell nowadays. However, I have his run in two trade collections, so I'm good!

Gorgeous!!!! I LOVE it! This is one of my favorite pics that you've done. You picked a great angle for showing off her soles. Plus, while Batgirl is my favorite, I've always had a soft spot for She Hulk. As I mentioned on one of your other pictures, back in the pre-internet/pre-VCR days, all a young foot fan had was those all too rare occasions when a favorite female comics character would go barefoot. She Hulk originally went barefoot all the time which made her a fantasy for this young foot fan.
I'm glad that you went with the FF uniform, too. She Hulk was never as beautiful as she was under Byrne's pencils.Β

Glad you like it! I actually had originally drawn this in different poses and with different characters even until I settled on drawing She-Hulk in this position. I think it turned out pretty darn good considering when I sat down I didn't know who I would be drawing! I was intentionally saving her for the rear of the Bootless Series, to make sure I had at least a couple of big names left to anchor the back half. It just sort of felt like it was time for her by now, you know?
I figured since she is known to be ticklish in canon, I'd pose her with a feather for some cheekiness. I think it all came together well enough
