how did you become so good at the gundams?

Actually, I used to just model cars. But I got bored of it and everyone else was doing it (that or spaceships). So I decided to "counter" with gundams since I hadn't seen many of them on the net (at the time). The first gundam I made was Freedom (in the scraps somewhere) but it took me almost 4 months from start to finish. It was basically hard learning. After that it was basically procedures and it just became easier to do.

The kit is "ok". The armor comes off too easily from the frame though. In that respect, I like the Fix Figuration figure better.

The "beam cloak"? It's crap. Better off making your own really. It's incredibly low grade material. It's possible that you could one-up it if you coat it with something to make it a bit heavier so that it doesn't "float" above the model so much. Still, the model on the whole 'looks' nice and I'm glad they're getting to suits that they haven't touched before.
