Description
Just sort of a quickie on how things connect with the Dendrobium Stamen and Orchis. There are 8 drawers per weapons box (so 16 total) mounted on the body of the Orchis. Each holds some special offensive weapon or Stamen armament. Not 100% sure of what the demolition chain looks like as the OAV pictured it as thin as dental floss. The Stamen mounts from a section in the front that arcs down to allow the Stamen to dock. Boosters in the backpack of the Stamen act also as clamps to keep it locked on the Orchis. Well.....Back to WORLD CUP!!Software: Lightwave 8.3 (modelling/ rendering), Macromedia Freehand (logos).
Gundam is (c) Sunrise/Bandai/Sotsu Agency

Really nice, though This junction always makes me think that after get used to piloting standard Mobile Suits Iยดd have trouble with Dendrobiun combined O.o Well probably with any large unit like METEOR support or others, but still love the design and specially that large cannon
But really awesome, you could post more schemes for your other models

I started the Stamen on May 3rd and finished the Orchis on June 7th I think, so whatever free time I could find in a month (exclude laziness)

I'm not actually very good at organic modelling myself at the moment. I'm not sure how I'm going to tackle making pilots. Yikes!

Wow, awesome, nice to see the kinda 3rd angle authographic technical drawing in the top right.
Also saw the pixar exhibition in london, and i found out that long hair is animated as 'fluid', don't know if that helps you or not :S
Also the water in finding nemo was animated with millions of spheres, yea i found out a load of random facts there...

yeah, there are plugins in lightwave to help with hair animation so I won't rip my own hair out trying to animate it ahem..... I haven't tried them yet though

Gorgeous! I swear, Dendrobium is probably one of my favorite Gundam mecha ever You just can NOT go wrong with taking out a Musai in a single blast in Encounters in Space

Don't worry, I understand. LW is strange and unorthodox compared to others like 3DS or Maya.

I like lightwave's modeller, but the UV texturing is a bit strange. Trying to experiment with other programs to make that easier

yea XD
when i used it, thats what i had the most problems with, honestly. after i finished the required stuff (it was part of a digital arts class a few years back) i just stuck with other programs XDDD
