As a Gold Collar Academy student, Ellie gets access to training facilities and equipment that few of her classmates even know about. While it's true she makes the most of everything she is given to supremely streamline her training, there's always a place in her mind for more simple exercises with basic apparatus. It's simply a matter of execution. In most gyms, climbing your way up to the ceiling with sixty pounds strapped to your waist would be a huge feat. In the Academy, it's something most of the students could do with grace and relative ease. The same goes for Ellie's oversplits and the raising and lowering of her hips to work her abs - impressive, but not out of the ordinary for an Academy student.

Again, it's all about the execution.

What separates Ellie out is the sheer flawlessness of her method and the brutal standards she holds herself to without need for competition or guidance. At first it would be easy to think she was doing a static hold, but in fact her body is moving at a glacial pace. Each repetition takes over a minute and somehow she maintains a steady pace throughout - no backtracking, no trembling, no jerking. She can grind through this training for hours, seemingly in slow motion, never faltering despite how painful such ruthless form becomes. Each and every movement has been practiced a thousand times to complete perfection. The only state suitable for a Gold Collar. This is one singular exercise of many throughout days that often blur together in marathons of torturous training. This is what Ellie lives for.
