Description
A little comic about, as the title says, how Ben does his homework now.Pardon the probably-over-ten-year-old math problem. I explain this as: 1.) Ben accidentally grabbed Gwen's mathbook, and she's taking advanced courses, 2.) Ben accidentally grabbed his grandfather's old high school math book, 3.) Ben was Grey Matter when he took the placement test, too.
Or we can just say Sandy was looking for a short math problem that was a little harder than 2+2. Yeah. XP
Grey Matter's size is so much fun to poke at.
And pardon the attempts at perspective when they go awry...

lol, if I had Grey Matter I would probably do the same. XD I HATE math... and the teacher who teaches it. By the way, that formula was in my Math book in 8th grade... thought you might want to know.

This comic is very in character for Ben. It's definitely got the child imagination charm.

Grey Matter is extremely smart, extremely small, and extremely slimey and sticky. He's kinda like a grey tree frog with Einstein's brain.

Errrm, you're more likely to find the Omnitrix insignia on Grey Matter's back.

a2+b2=c2 is the pythagrion theorem. Simple geometry, not hard. I'm such an egghead.

LOL, no, it's not hard...unless you're Ben. Or you don't have a calculator and you have to find square roots of ugly numbers and the teacher wants decimal answers.

Irrational numbers haet decimal rounding.
I know this because I'm taking college precalculus, and most of our answers are left in irrational form for sanity's sake.

LOL, fun. I got up to precal in highschool, so I tried to take calculus in college...and oh, that did not go well. So instead, I took college algebra. That went much better.

Poor lil Grey Matter...
I love that Ben is left-handed in this ^^

Sandy87 In reply to sheerbeauty [2006-08-22 04:17:40 +0000 UTC]
Well, I just assume he is because he reached for the Omnitrix with his left, and being a righty myself, I would've used my right hand (actually, I would've just peered at the thing and ended up with it stuck on my face...XD), so I figure his left must be dominant.
Hmm...which brings the point, could an alien with a larger-than-human wrist wear the Omnitrix? It's fairly stretchy (Kevin sure gave it a good tugging), and Grandpa Max didn't seem to be pinched by it, but how big is the limit?

sheerbeauty In reply to Sandy87 [2006-08-22 05:06:30 +0000 UTC]
I guess it changes shape enough to accomodate just about any alien - maybe its limit is 4 ft diameter, something like that? I don't think a planet-sized being would wear it (or would need it)
And, most ppl wear watches on their left hand b/c they are righties and they can operate the little watch knobs with their right hands. Try winding a watch with your non-dominant hand XD (although I have to...darned right-handed world)

Meh, I never wear a watch myself (instead, I have a Pocket Pikachu 2 that is 3-4 years old that I wear on my belt...oh man, what a nerd I am ). So silly me doesn't know that - then again, I'm pretty close to ambidexterous too, so I might not notice (I can't write, draw, or use chopsticks in my left hand, but most other things are fine).
