so....... i finished watching cryaotic's telltale batman playthrough and WHOOF it made me feel a bunch of stuff. specifically, john doe + bruce stuff.Βwhich is astonishing since i've never been much of a joker fan before, but telltale really made john rounded and sympathetic in this one. also demonstrably gayer.Β
this is based on their coffee date in ep 3 btw

John Doe is my most favorite Joker incarnation (he's so adorable I can't resist!). And I think Telltale Bruce too, because we can actually see his softy side of him
And yes! John is definitely gaaaayer than his other incarnation, that's not so subtle anymore. I think John genuinely fall in love with Bruce (as the real Bruce, not his 'mask') is the reason why their relationship looks more interesting.
And it's not just one-sided love anymore like in others version of them (except in Lego Batman, ofc). Bruce seems to reciprocated John's feeling, but both of them didn't realize that because they're idiots (in love). Even people around them can see it, like Alfred (in Vigilante path) or Harley (in Villain path).Β
