I was really mad at both Connie and lion for giving Steven the cold shoulder after returning back, like yeah, you guys promised to be together all the time but you have to get it that he had no other choice, didn't want to risk the lives of his friends, Lars died for example, and wanted to take all of his mother's mess on his shoulders and fix everything. He risked his life to save them and the last thing he needs when he comes back home is this.
