Personality:

  Marilee can appear to be sweet and shy, but don’t be fooled by that innocent look. It’s all a facade to hide the true trickster that lies beneath. She loves to play games, which includes playing with your mind to lure you into a false sense of security before claiming you as her next victim. That sweet smile can turn into a menacing grin at the drop of a hat. You know what they say: watch out for the quiet ones.

  On the lighter side of things, she does have a true sweet side to her, but it rarely shows. Often, she is seen as mischievous and playful. When it comes to relationships, you’ll know if she is interested in someone when she starts flirting with them. She especially loves it if that someone also flirts with her.

  True to her name, she can also be very bitter, and may hold onto a grudge for a long time, especially in the case of her older brother. However, her sense of loyalty runs deep, and even if she’s bitter towards a loved one, her grudge is always pushed aside to protect the few she cares about

Short Story:

  Marilee and her family were always on the move. They never settled in a single place for more than a few months. Although half shadow demon and half human, the human blood of her mother was strong within her. It wasn’t a blessing, however. It often caused fits from attempting to reject her demonic side, making her shadow element extremely unstable. She was miserable, but found comfort from her big brother, Alastor, who went through a similar ordeal.

  Eventually, her family’s travels led to them temporarily settling in Japan, where they took up work and residence with a group of bandits. Alastor would make use of his abilities to help the group, while Marilee would stay with her parents. One night, Alastor left on his own to make an extra run for the group, but before he returned, Marilee’s parents and the bandits were all consumed by a powerful demoness, who left her only barely alive and partially eaten. As she lay there dying, all she could think about was how grateful she was that her brother wasn’t there. However, she couldn’t help but feel betrayed for that same fact. It was that small part of her, that bitterness, that called Zalgo to her.

  Given that she was only half human, the act of turning her into a Zalgoid was somewhat an experiment that went better than expected. Not only was she successfully converted, but her shadow element stabilized and settled in her, becoming usable. She now wishes to find her brother and show him how it felt to be abandoned by him.

- Shadow possession and healing both quickly use up her energy

Extra:
- Do not piss her off. Ever. She will tear you to shreds and not bat an eyelash
- Although she doesn't like the rain, she loves to swim
