Description
Sailor Moon fandom commission for *Agent-Chauvelin which requested Dark Mercury and Rubeus.I was itching to do commission for this fandom - it was almost telepathy!
...the tension should be very high and coming from both sides. I don't really care what they're doing, but it should have a sort of rough, rushed, heedless passion to it.
I was given free hand for the design (I already posted sketch version of Mercury in my scraps) and I am glad how it worked out applied in this composition.
The things she has coming from her fingers are icicles btw.
I hope this is "rawr" enough.

Sunny, this screams "rawr!" So smexy! Rubeus looks delightfully manly (you've drawn him so much better than the anime version, in my humble opinion)... And Dark Mercury looks great, too! Nice pic. To me, it looks like Rebus wants to "jump right in," but Mercury shows some lethal icicles and says, "No, we're going to take it slow, dear."

What is your reasoning behind this pairing? Just curious.

Uh...because I sort of love crack pairings?
No, really, the answer's sort of twofold. First off, I freakin' love Rubeus and Mercury, so I sort of just naturally grouped them together, even though it didn't really make sense. And secondly, PGSM was sort of a godsend to me because I love it when good guys go bad, and Mercury always just seemed prime for that, especially in R how they basically singled her out for corruption because she has the right materials to turn. The concept was interesting to me, and it really just sort of lit my ass on fire for a whole beautiful field of What-If scenarios involving a Dark Mercury in the R season.
And so, a crack baby was born. And I love it ver much. Even if it rides the short bus.
