"Pour your salt into my wounds and watch me crawl. Tell me to take it like a man. Show me my place. Hurt me just because you can."
This Cain's Offering song would be fitting for this ship.

Actually I did/still dont know them either - I never watched the series, but thanks to the commissioner (was my regular client and friend) I got very fond of them. She shaped them to her AU and I happen to really enjoy drawing "her" version of them

*w* pity you didn't upload the whole pic..i think it's not so extreme to be unsuitable for this site...but ok i recently had troubles for a naked tit, so it's obvious idiots can cause problems for that. =_=
gorgeous anatomy and colors btw!!! *_*

According to the rules on this site, you cannot show nude character which is considered as teen in canon - not even if you age it (which they obviously are both aged, since its AU). Thus Id be braking them. :-/
Trouble with naked breast? D: huh? But breasts are ok here on DA...or am I missing something new? D:

Aaaah i see :\ too bad. But i also understand this rule is necessary to stop people who enjoy real underage sex pictures.
Yes I had since some moron complained about this [link] needing a mature conent directly with an admin...I knew nothing until I got the note from the admin. Now i have no filter, so i didn't notice I missed the censure...yet i don't think the picture has actually a sexual content, it's just...nude, not that shocking. Whatever. I did a mistake but it's just to say there is full of people looking for...witches to burn.

Sorry for poking into your conversation, but I think you're misinterpreting this. It's most likely not about witch burning. Some people browse deviantart while at work or at school, so they need the mature filter to work. It's not that they're offended by breasts, they just don't want to explain to others why they're looking at nudes
So just mark them as mature content and that's it. I always do that and I don't consider it "censorship", mainly because I was on the other side of the fence as well.

The main problem about the accident I had is that the person could just had tell, there is no problem for me to put a censure, and I felt a bit offended by this lack of dialogue.
We could have solved the issue (I know for many people it is not so simple, but you can't accuse a person of not being polite if you are not nice first) without involving a third person, an admin, which has surely more important things to do.
Besides, you should have been doing other stuff at work or at school, you might peep on a site for your own sake, but you do it sneakily and when nobody watches; and last, for any pic you see a thumb first, it's not like deviantart pictures pop out like a pornsite avertisement.

I agree that the best thing to do is to talk to the artist directly about it, but maybe that person had bad experiences before so they were trying to avoid this. Or maybe they *were* looking for deviations to report - who knows. It's better not to think about these things too much and just assume the best
As for looking at sites sneakily - there are times when you don't have to sneak, such as when taking a break. And nudes are actually very obvious even in thumbs, they "jump" at you from the page visually. I'll never understand why some people are so hesitant to mark their work as mature content. It's not equal to saying "this is porn". It's just a way to filter content based on people's tastes or necessities.
By the way, I'm glad I started talking to you, because I got to see your gallery and it's beautiful!

Uhmm I still think that you get so much erotic banners while browsing that really colleagues wouldn't blame you if they see a thumb with boobs.
By the way it was my mistake, even if i think nude without a sexyal context is suitable for each age, I understand this is my point of view and I usually censure anything. I try to be polite and correct in this sense, so that's why I was annoyed to be not told about this issue and reported without knowing, do you see my point?
Thank you so much! You're really talented too!

Id see sense in the rule, but when it is really obvious that the character is old enough - and you know, the characters do age in run of the series or books or such... they cannot stay forever 15 or such... So, this only part really bugs me
Yes, I understand your disappointment. While many artist here on DA dont usually show much intelligence when they brake the rules (submitting works which brake them or such), the other ones, which are sensible are avoided with the first contact and get reported right away to heads of the site. And from my personal experience - I can see if the artist is sensible, its really clear one could talk to him privately and point out something amiss with the rules. Yet it still amazes me, why the reporters make such ridiculous efforts - searching out admins and bothering them with it. While it would be so easy to tell the artist...
On the other hand I think its sort of cowardice, since people are afraid of being ignored when trying to talk to the artist privately. I do not have such a problem, I did this several times. However, surprisingly one of the artists response truly perplexed me - he/she chose to acknowledge the braking of the rules, yet leaving it be and try "to keep up the artwork as long as possible until someone reports me." ....... so I sort of see the logic of the person, which reported you (I do not mean it is logical to do what he did, but what he maybe thought of as logical...) Perhaps the person thought you would ignore him, so he approached the admin...
Ehm, sorry this got so long..

Lol np for the lenght, i am not scared by conversations! X)
Yeah, you're right...but still I think they had the need of making a more strict rule to be sure to get rid of underage porn. Obviously, you cannot ignore that people actually have sex before 18 but how would you define otherwise that they have to be mature enough? there is that early teenage period where you can hardly decide whether a person is mature or still a child, and it mostly variates on people. Same thing for grown up characters, I don't mind if a teenager couple is represented while enjoying their love bound; but not everybody is as good as you are portraying ages, so some perverted artist can claim to have failed on it and keep drawing children, and that would be gross.
And yes, I see your point...but believe you should be polite first and then expect politeness from others. In other words, I find kinda rude behaving as if you already know I would have been rude. This offended me, I wouldn't have been rude at all, as if putting a censure on would have been a problem!

Yes, the style problem is very troublesome Its very unfair to people who draw "normal" looking characters corresponding to their age... oh well...
Yes - I agree again - it is a rude behavior. I can only express my hopes for the future, that more cultured and polite people will browse around your work.

I don't really dig into that pairing, but the art is gorgeous nonetheless !
The lines are beautiful, and so are the colours !
My only regret is that we can't see the gold of her eyes and the blue of his ... :3
Truly great !
