It was a nice day today. The sky was blue with little to no clouds, the birds sand as they rode the light breeze. Whyalla had taken, or well, carried, his siblings to a local flower garden. He knew how much Lilac loved flowers, and Monty didn't really complain as much as he had thought. He was sitting off to the side, watching the two smaller Skeenks roam around and do their own things, it made him smile. He closed his eyes for a bit, listening to the soothing noises around him. But something felt... Off...

Whyallas eyes fluttered open, landing on Lilac. She was admiring a few blooms, nothing unusual. But, in the corner of his eye, he saw a much lighter toned Skeenk. At first, he brushed it off. This WAS a public place after all, it wouldn't be a surprise to see others wondering around the place. But the longer he stared, he realized they were... watching... his sister. He felt himself beginning to boil, protective instincts kicking into overdrive from his once sleepy state.

How DARE they think they can just waltz in and STARE at his sister like that?! With those eyes, with that EXPRESSION. His mind read it all wrong, seeing the other Skeenk as a predator. "Hey Lilac, come over here" He called out to his purple sibling, as calmly as he could. Lilacs ears perked up and she scurried over to him with an innocent expression. "Yea? Whats up?" She asked in her sweet, soft voice. It soothed him for a moment, but then he remembered the matter at hand. He finally looked at the light Skeenk swiftly, with a harsh and threatening look. They flinched slightly, not expecting him to do something like that. Lilac seemed confused.

"We're going, there's uh, I saw an ice cream store not to far from here and wanted to get some." Whyalla said quickly, turning his glance back to Lilac with a gently grin. Her eyes seemed to light up and she bounced on the spot. "Okay!!" She beamed as the dust coloured Skeenk picked her up and placed her on his back. He spotted Monty not to far from there, and lifted him up with his tail. He was about to complain before Whyalla told him where they were going, he smiled excitedly. Sending one last glare to the stranger, her quickly evacuated the area...
