"I like you..." Tom's had to take a moment to process what had happened, his mind going blank for a split second. But then the words finally clicked.

"What??" Tom shouted accidentally, surprising himself even more and falling backwards. His face was flushed red slightly, he laid on the floor. A strange tingling sensation went through his body, it was slightly painful. "Oh my goodness Tom are you okay!?" Ana rushed over to his side, he looked up at her still flustered. Her eyes where still lined with tears,a strange feeling washed over him as he stared at her face.

The same feeling he had when he was around Matt.

But... this one felt like it was being returned back, like she felt the exact same way. She wasn't lying. The sun had started to set, right behind Ana's head. Her light grey fur blowed in the soft breeze, brown eyes shining in the yellow light. Was this who he was truly looking for?
Without thinking, he sprung up, capturing Ana in an unexpected hug. She gasped in surprise and almost fell backwards, she didn't know what to do. Hug back? Push him away? She stood still, still shocked.

Tom rested his forehead on Ana's shoulder. He smiled, his eye sockets tearing up themselves. "Heh, you silly girl" He chuckled, not realising that his arms were longer and wings were bigger. A small tear rolled down his cheek. He had grown up, he clung onto Ana tighter. "You used the wrong word..." His voice became softer and into a whisper.

"It's 'I love you'..."
