He's sooooo smoothcoated now that even a Labrador would look as if it had longer fur.
But it's so clever, this system of TM shedding. They shed only once a year and then everything goes and they are smooth and cool during all the warm summermonths. I love it

I had a hard time believing it until I got to see it with my own eyes. I can only say nature is so clever!
My old dog Rocky suffered so much during the warm summer, we had to shower him with cool water before every walk since he had so much fur. Zodd is happy in his summersuit, cool and a bit funnylooking, but happy ^^

It is very important for a dog to feel comfortable during those hot times. You don't want them getting a heat stroke on you! O_o I really do feel sorry for the Bernese Mountain Dogs and Newfies that get stuck in the blazing sun on walks or dog shows!
