I had a design of a mecha lying around and i desided toredraw it and colour it and here is the result.Related content

very powerful look reminds me of the alien in alien around the face anyway, the rest is very different, the detail on the wiring tubing ect is amassing.
The choice of limited colour pallet works very well allowing the red lights to be highlighted without what looks like forced effort.

Actually the villan in the french movie Vidocq was the insperation for the face

i did the orignal image on pen and paper then the colour and higlights and all is done with photoshop

sadly it contains to much anatomy errors to be any continuation on this image in particular

Any mistake in 2D is easier to fix then if this what a 3D model or a sculpture... and I think u really should coz what you got so far is pretty awesome.

Its based of a old concept design of a mecha and then i saw the art from Doom 3 and it inspierd me to do it with verry limited colours

This is a wonderful picture, very nicely done. I'm personally quite bad at al that mechanical stuff but you seem to do it really good. Those two red lights brings the entire piece to live, a very good choice ^_^
