Description
lol, so I was finding reference pictures for this project this weekend on a computer that wasn't mine, not realizing that the original owner's AIM was still open, when a friend messaged.I told him that the owner isn't there, and I'm just using the computer for homework purposes, and he said that it sounds "excitingly droll." To this I lol'ed, not only because of that response, but because little does he know- I was makin a interplanetary delivery ship!
This is definitely not finished- even though I already submitted this for a grade
The project is called a "Found Sculpture," which basically means something that's made of random found things. Apparently alot of people don't include glue and tape as found objects, but thankfully this instructor didn't consider them as such... we just couldn't use sculpting medium.
This will be scrapped after I get it done
------------------------------------
This is made with the following items:
A Shampoo Bottle - the top part is made from the body of the sleek bottle, while the cap is used to make a base for it to sit on (not featured in these photos)
A Water Bottle - Crushed on two sides to flatten it in order to make it the bottom part of the ship. The water bottle's label was made into the jet emissions... but won't stay there for the final product... it's just there to make it look more interesting for my grade.
Newspaper - lots of it for paper maché. This is the first paper maché I've ever done in my entire life XD
Glue - for paper maché
Tape - To hold down the crushed bottle in the shape I needed it to stay so it doesn't pop back up
Post Cards - for the wings and dorsal fin-looking thing.
------------------------------------
These items will also be included when continuing the work:
Water Bottle Cap- for the gun turret/one-man pod on top of the ship
8 white thumb tacks- for the windows on the sides
Red Rubber Band - For the red outlining around the central x-axis of the ship
Toothpicks - for the grates on the sides
Teal Spraypaint - for the body of the ship
Silver Spraypaint - for the grates and to speckle on the body for textural effect.

THIS IS A FAN ARTWORK

Wow, thank you. That's an unexpected response, but I'm very flattered.
