Got a tablet, this was made to both get the idea out of my mind and to get used to the tablet.Not a refined drawing, but it was fun.
That's Hermaeus Mora, a Daedric Prince from the Elder Scrolls. Twilight is reading a Black Book, from the Dragonborn DLC. When you read them you get sent to Apocrypha, his realm, where knowledge gets stored.

It is a comfort to know that tranquility and peace prevails in Equestria thanks to the Magic of Friendship, but what applies INSIDE the ponies' little world bears no relation to what lay OUTSIDE; for Equestria and its little world are no more than a fickle candle-light of order sitting upon a lonely rock, surrounded by a hostile, turbulent, endless ocean of darkness and chaos which could overwhelm all without a thought or care at any moment.
Against the gibbering madness and unspeakable evil beyond it there could be no real victory. Hope is a lie. The curious, the wise and the determined are all doomed to madness and death. What better then, to live in ignorance of the vast, horrible reality that lay behind the illusion of peace and harmony...?
