La torre dei Lamberti è una torre medioevale di Verona di 84 metri, che svetta da piazza Erbe, nel centro storico della città. La sua costruzione iniziò nel 1172 per volontà della famiglia omonima. Nel maggio del 1403 un fulmine abbatté la cima della torre e solo nel 1448 iniziarono i lavori di restauro e di innalzamento, che durarono sino al 1464.

The Torre dei Lamberti is 84 m high tower in Verona, northern Italy. The tower was begun in 1172; in May 1403 a lightning struck it, but only in 1448 restoration works were started, lasting until 1464. In the occasion the tower was enlarged: the more recent sections can be recognized today by the use of different materials (such as marble). The large clock was added in 1779.
