this is my entry for the violin contest by liam-stockthis is my first ever photomanipulation so please be gentle.
i would like to dedicate this peice to as she has been an amazing inspiration to me. i suggest everyone take a look at her gallery as she is an extreamly talented artist

Hmmm... one of sand and one of lime... If well the main composition has a precious scenario and also it's magnificently worked out... I wonder why in the world you hat to put the girl's figure in such amateurish way. It looks like a sticky paste and sends the wonderful previous work to waste

yeah...its my first ever photomanipulation, i did try to blur the edges so she would look like she was actually there, but for some reason it really didnt work.

hmmm... even like that you may leave some spaces.
You coudl use wether the feather cut in order to make the pic blend with the rest of the composition, or/and... well add some shadows so it can grow in volume and not look just flat.
But as the main hint: experiment with it and you'll find a way

hmm. it looks a bit artificial, but if that's your first manip, i would say, you did a great job!
in my view the woman in the centre sticks too much out.
but on the whole this piece is very able to originate a certain feeling.

I love how the piece is so devoid of colors except for the blue. It really draws attention to the girl at the fountain. I also like how you didn't center her smack dab in the middle of the piece but just a bit off center! Beautiful piece!

I love the detail on the fountain. Nothing is lost, despite the low contrast between that and the background. Feel like the area around the girl could be touched up a tad, but I love the piece as a whole.

Very nice, only thing I can say is try working a bit on blanding the model into the background a little bit better as her dark dress stands our quite a lot.

It's beautiful. I think the success of doing matt painting relies alot on blending in different elements into one whole flawlessly. So take note of their lighting conditions, shadows & the quality of the different images to be added, etc. Try softening the edge of the girl & adding some shadows at the bottom would enhance it further.
