Hurray. It's finally done! This is my OC for that will hopefully be a contestant in this Slenderman based OCT [link]

This drawing was done by this awesome guy right here [link] who was kind enough to draw my character for me. By the way, if you have free time, you should check out his awesome sci-fi/action/adventure story Nature's Romance. It's pretty funny too

Just to put it up here, this is all that I said of what my character should look like.

Appearance: He has brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a black t-shirt with a simple grey outline of a crow flying, blue jeans, black shoes, and a brown trench coat. He has holders for his pistols on his sides, but his trench coat conceals them, as well as the knife he has. His pistols have a skull engraved on the handles on both sides.

Now, onto my actual reference sheet. (Just a warning, I wrote a lot :/ )

Name: Mark Slaughter (hurhurhur awesome name, isn't it? *is shot* :/ )

Age: 27

Weight: 160

Eye color: Brown

Hair color: Brown

Height: 6"

History/Life Overview: Mark never really liked people. He was made fun of because he was a little quiet in school, which only caused him to become even quieter. He never had many friends, and lived a pretty dull life.

It was okay, mediocre, but tended toward the bad side around the time he was twelve. His mother and father hadn't been getting along, fighting constantly, until one day his mother just up and left, leaving him with a bitter, abusive, alcoholic father.

He began hating his life even more, because now it wasn't just dull outside of family life; it was bad AND dull. But things took a turn for the better when he had his first girlfriend in high school. He dated her for a while, and thought he loved her, and told her everything, since she understood where he was coming from.

However one night, on their anniversary no less, he told her his biggest and most dangerous secret - he was planning to murder the kids that had taunted him for years, and was almost finished preparations.

Much to his dismay, she was shocked, outraged, and terrified. When she threatened to call the cops, there was nothing he could do, so he had to kill her himself. Stuffing her body in the trunk of her car, he took it and buried her body out in the woods.

He returned to school the next day, acting like nothing had happened, and provided a barely passable alibi for the cops when they started investigating.

A month had passed, maybe longer, and during that time, he worked at a cheap fast-food service "restaurant" as a cashier, making minimum wage. He hated his boss, but couldn't quit because he needed the money since his father spent his all on booze. During this time, he, of course, kept thinking of how he'd murdered his girlfriend, and was shocked and ashamed at first...but then he started to think that he liked it. He was in a daze most days at work, and got fired because he kept "slacking off."

Deciding his life wasn't getting better, he took what little money he had been saving for college, among other things, the money that his dad hadn't spent on alcohol yet, bought a gun, and left, moving away. But not before he had used the gun to kill his father.

After which he decided he liked killing, enjoyed it, which led him to become a murderer. He ended up doing a few "jobs" for some people, getting paid well, and enjoying the act of killing even more. Eventually he bought the other pistol, figuring "If I get another gun, won't that mean twice the fun?" Which it did, for him, and bought a knife "to make things more interesting."

He's only seen the Slender Man once, and when he did he saw it abduct a small child. He didn't see what happened to the child, actually, because he just happened to be walking near a park when all of a sudden he saw Mr. Faceless, luring a child to him, like the child was hypnotized or something. Of course, no one else was around, and Mark froze when he saw what was happening. Slender Man turned to face Mark as the child was walking ever closer to him, and when that happened Mark just bolted and ran, having no clue what it was. He's never seen it again, until...

Personality: Mark is a psychotic killer. He loves shooting at people, and is sadistic, loving to see someone suffer in either pain or fear from him (or both.) He may not even have a reason for wanting to kill you, attacking just because it's fun, or because he thinks it'd be interesting. He has a lot of fun shooting at someone, and is amused if they're able to dodge/get away from his bullets, at first. But after a while he'll start to get angry if he hasn't even hit them yet, or maybe even more so since they're still not dead. His happy, smiling demeanor will soon give way to his psychotic anger, and he will do anything to be able to kill his target. If things get bad enough, he'll use his knife to try and get the job done, or anything in the surrounding area that could be used as a weapon.
He enjoys talking while trying to kill someone, making random comments, and usually laughing at the thought of saying that he'll kill them.
Sometimes he won't want to kill someone at first, and may even try to befriend them. He's tried a few times in his life to have normal relationships with people, but he either found there lives too boring because they didn't kill (not that he told them, of course), or he'd end up feeling betrayed as they ended whatever relationship they had.
The majority of the time he doesn't try to make friends, but if he likes someone, or doesn't want to kill them exactly, he'll try to, usually seeming really awkward since he never really had many friendships.

Weaknesses: After he saw the Slender Man and had enough time to calm and convince himself that he was sane, he realized that whatever the Slender Man was and was doing interested him, and looked it up on the internet, and has a basic understanding of what it is. However, while it may interest him when it's not stalking him, if he happens to see it, it terrifies him. He doesn't really like to talk about it, for obvious reasons.
He hates people asking about his past, why he is the way he is today. He hates being called "crazy" or "insane" or "evil," feeling that there is no true evil in the world, and is just a human that makes decisions, that can't be labeled as good or evil. He views himself as a person that just wants to enjoy himself, the specifics of his killing to achieve this don't really matter to him.
If someone asks why they can't be friends (or at least not have him trying to kill them), or have any relationships with anyone else, he'll simply say, "It never really worked out." And drop the subject. If he keeps getting pressed, he will attack.

Fears: (He doesn't have many) He's afraid of feeling excruciating pain, like he sometimes gave to his victims. He's afraid of death, as well, because he doesn't believe there's anything after it. And of course the Slender Man.

Other: Sometimes he hears a voice telling him who to kill. So far he's listened to it, seeing as it hasn't happened much, and figured why not? He was usually planning to kill, anyway...

His trench coat hides his pistols and knife, and also carries a lot of ammo.
