Our world sounds very similar, we indeed live in the same universe . Tell me... Ps4 or Xbox One and do you think the governor turned good ?

haha.. i hate those controllers, so im sticking with pc for my mouse and keyboard.. and of course way better graphics too

as for the governor.. in the walking dead world there is no such thing anymore as good or bad, there is just trying to survive.. butΒ i hope rick kills the governor with his bare hands.. just after the governor kills almost everyone in the prison.. hershel has to get injured really bad during the massacre of the governorΒ and so rick has to find carol again cause she is the only that can fix up hershals wounds..Β

Β why did they removed carol form the story ??? she was so awesome, at least they didnt kill her, so i say.. bring her back.. NOWΒ

setsugen [2013-11-23 01:44:22 +0000 UTC]

how long does a piece like this usually take?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

D-VoiDeD In reply to setsugen [2013-11-23 08:51:22 +0000 UTC]

I also use 3ds Max and I'm very familiar with particles within 3ds Max. Setting up a scene like this, only the particles (which constitutes the rain part of the scene), would take maybe 30 minutes. If you have a firm grasp of the dynamics and workflow of the particle system, I'd say it'd be even less than 15 minutes.

PS: sending the reply to you, as well, because I'm unsure whether replying to someone in a nested thread also alerts the OP.

Thank you, 3d Max does very nice lighting and appears to have other great features but is a little to pricey for my budget. I use Poser and have done a couple little animations. Rain would be easier but swarm of particles would take days to setup.

I'm really loving what you're doing with particles. I'm a little more occupied with modelling at the moment.

awesome.. so what is it you are modeling now ?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

D-VoiDeD In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-11-24 10:57:59 +0000 UTC]

At the moment I'm just playing around, as such, trying to improve my modelling skills. I've still got a very long road ahead of me.

This is what I'm working on at the moment; the dress and shoes. The dress is box-modeled then draped with cloth. The shoes looks a little big and clunky from this angle, but from other angles they look better. i42.tinypic.com/rkbwcx.jpg

This is my first really big attempt at properly modelling something.
