how can i help? :\ i gues u used some code that uses loops to start over the moving....
my gues the spin not smooth :\

SaphireNishi In reply to scorpionjb [2013-01-23 15:35:46 +0000 UTC]
lol.. euhm, what spin ? again, not really helpful..!!!
what i meant was, pointing out that something is wrong but you dont know what, that is not helpful.. there is a lot wrong in the animation, but if you dont know what is wrong then only pointing out that something is wrong is not really helping.. i know its not perfect.. its why its called learning..

I bet the rear camera angle looks just as awesome! Excellent work. Her arms seem a bit too controlled but perhaps that is your intent with this strut.

well no, that wasnt.. but im not sure how to move the arms more natural either.. i guess i need to take an other look at some references..

Awesome, but I think You should add some blinking eyes...
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SaphireNishi In reply to VampireTharik [2013-01-21 18:59:30 +0000 UTC]
all in good time.. i need to worry about other things first like getting her to move from one point to an other without her feet moving around on the ground..
eyes come with things like breathing.. but im not worry about that at all yet.. first get the basics under control, then i can look further...

Oh you said you want to do something that involve bouncing parts now Im a bit disapointed ;(
Also maybe you should call them animation I think it does fit more than turntable
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SaphireNishi In reply to kiiinTHEbob [2013-01-21 14:44:08 +0000 UTC]
one thing at the time.. i need to have a reason why some things are bouncing.. so i need to get that right first.. once i get that i can move one.. one thing at the time babes.. thats how it works best.. if i dont nothing will look good..
titles arent important.. im doing a graphic thing.. not a text thing..

just seeing Saph from the other side would show "bouncing parts" (well, nice moving)
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SaphireNishi In reply to Sedorrr [2013-01-21 15:47:04 +0000 UTC]
yeah, but you have to create this whole animation first.. and thats the hard part.. bouncing parts are actually not part of the animation but they will be calculated on "springs" that are attached to the bouncing part.. so thats whole different thing on the rig itself.. better keep thing relatively simple and do one thing at the time.. if i first get the basics under control then i can move on to other stuff.. but doing everything at once will not work and seems just stupid cause nothing will look good then..

Sedorrr In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-01-22 16:09:03 +0000 UTC]
Of course you are right, starting simple and getting practice is the correct way - everything else would only mess all up and ends in a lot of chaos.
Soooooo... You learn it now, and if you've done it - you teach it to me
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SaphireNishi In reply to Sedorrr [2013-01-22 17:38:17 +0000 UTC]
hehe.. well i can teach you how to do it already.. that is actually the easy part.. the hard part is actually making it.. creating the movement is all about skill and practice..
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Sedorrr In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-01-23 16:06:20 +0000 UTC]
I think the part about the movement will be the one I actually will have much problems with...
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SaphireNishi In reply to Sedorrr [2013-01-24 00:10:49 +0000 UTC]
yeah, but that is what makes the difference between a good animation and a crappy one.. everyone can setup a rig.. thats all technically stuff.. that doesnt really require any skills.. its the animating part that not everyone can do.. im surprised on how easy it still goes.. i wonder how i will do when i go to more difficult animations..
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Sedorrr In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-01-25 13:32:11 +0000 UTC]
Hehe, I am waiting to see the more difficult ones
You are right, the animation makes it "real" and that's something _I_ am frightening for I think everything will look like it's a robot
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SaphireNishi In reply to Sedorrr [2013-01-25 17:43:12 +0000 UTC]
well problem is animating by hand is actually outdated.. they all use motion capture now for making animations.. i want that too..!!!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Sedorrr In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-01-26 11:43:27 +0000 UTC]
You are right, a friend told me some days ago that he'll get a Kinect for motion capturing... Well, yes, would make it much easier.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SaphireNishi In reply to Sedorrr [2013-01-26 15:55:45 +0000 UTC]
it makes it a lot easier and it actually looks like real life movement too then.. something that is almost impossible to get when just moving limbs around in 3d space..
