This is really impressive! What kind of rigging do you use? Cat? Biped? Bones? This is the best walk cycle I've seen in your gallery so far, almost looks like a motion capture animation. Good work!

SaphireNishi In reply to UmbrellaSpecter [2013-08-13 23:24:11 +0000 UTC]

thank you.. this is actually an animation made in poser.. so its based on a pre-made rig that is based on a simple bone structure.. the IK system of poser isnt that great, so if you look closely to the foot placement you see there is wiggle in her feet..

Very nice! comparing it to the last piece you made of a walking cycle, this one is better somehow. The feet, as it was already said, is kicking back a little too much. I don't know exactly what do you do to get this working, but i think you should make the legs a bit more 'together' as she walks, as if placing one feet in front of the other. Her hips are just fine, and just use some more movement to her arms while lowering them to the side of the body, and it will look better.
I don't know if this comment is of any help, but think of it as a constructive critique :-P
Btw, your work is just awesome!

SaphireNishi In reply to Naruneyl [2013-02-07 22:24:56 +0000 UTC]

hehe.. well the upper body isnt animated at all.. in "walk cycle 4" its the first time i tried animated the upper body too.. im not sure but i dont think the hip is move accordingly on how she steps into her step.. it looks reversed, or something.. i dont know what it is.. but it just doesnt feel right.. anyways, its a learning process and i dont except to get perfect results soon either.. this is going to take a while to understand and get a good control over.. thanks for the feedback

Your work is super killer, I wish I had the time to put into more elaborated work. The only critique about this piece right here is that her feet are kicking back too much, the foot bents back a little too far. Hope it was constructive criticism.

can i ask you a thing are you rich?

SaphireNishi In reply to UmarHard [2013-02-01 03:56:52 +0000 UTC]

huh what does that have to do with anything ? let me ask you something.. you have a brain ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

UmarHard In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-02-01 12:02:49 +0000 UTC]

well yea i have one. Two things you seem to have a lot of free time and you use ton of commercial softwares, which i can't (I'm planing on using opensource softwares). That's y m always curious about it. I don't know Why you have to b rude!!!! It's just a question.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SaphireNishi In reply to UmarHard [2013-02-02 13:41:46 +0000 UTC]

well try using it then.. some question are inappropriate to ask.. im not only talking about the ones you asked here.. you leave weird comments all over the place.. its not me thats being rude.. its actually you.. now im not even sure if you realize what you are doing.. so my first questing is still standing.. do you have working brain ? if so then you understand what im saying here..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

UmarHard In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-02-02 18:31:57 +0000 UTC]

like what comment??? i think if you don't wanna give a straight answer, you answer like that, don't you?
And m not rude m irritating when m curious. like i ask are you rich? y ask cuz you use commercial softwares. 3ds Max about $3000 realflow around $3000 Zbrush not sure but $699 poser not sure $499 and Photoshop $699. Normal man cannot have such an expensive hobby. if i have a brain that can go and search people information in the world, then i wasn't using internet. like you can be rich or someone rich gifted you those software, how i know? that's y m asking. There's something really wrong, that's y this question is pissing you off. again which of my comment you are asking about.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SaphireNishi In reply to UmarHard [2013-02-02 19:12:37 +0000 UTC]

see, this is exactly what i mean.. what you are applying now is that use illegal software cause normal people wouldnt buy software like this.. and putting out in the open like this is rude and inappropriate.. for your information there are a lot different kind of licences out there that can be bought.. i for one have a student licence.. so i dont need to pay $3000 for max.. same goes for all the other programs im using.. so instead of trying to figure out how im doing things, maybe its smarter to try to find out what kind of different ways you can get the software you want to use.. seems like a way smarter use of your time and energy.. so like i said.. try using you brain for once instead of implying that i am a thief or rich.. these things are one of your business..

you want me to be clear on what else you doing wrong ? are you sure, cause i dont care, but you have to realize that a lot of people will read this.. i think it would be wiser for your sake that we discuss these kind of things through notes, and not here in the open where everyone can see it.. but if you want i can do it too.. ill make a big ass out of you right here, right now..

ill just give you a hint.. for example asking if someone is a boy or a girl ?

its so hard to use you brain once a while isnt it.. stupid dumbass people

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

UmarHard In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-02-02 19:41:49 +0000 UTC]

ok first of all i never said that you are a thief. i said maybe you have a rich friend or relative who gave you these gift. Second m not stupid, these student software give a watermark (if you don't know google it) render, if it was worthy i have used it already(strange that you know there's student license, but how they are protecting the copyright issue, you don't know)!!!!! By the way you said that I don't use brain. And there is tons of site which tells you the prices and there are opensorce software too, so i very well know that there is no problem to tell it(if you have a brain you understood what i said), you are just trying to win the conversation. No one on my any social networking accounts has ever talked to me like that. now i think you are a kid too.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SaphireNishi In reply to UmarHard [2013-02-02 20:07:15 +0000 UTC]

lol.. stupidity of humanity put into one person.. its really amazing how some people can keep doing what they do without hurting themselves..

you do realize that software doesnt have a watermark.. its renders that come out of a render engine that "CAN" have a watermark over them.. but software doesnt have that.. stupid ass people.. second, wither i bought or got my software from someone else or even downloaded it illegally, its really none of your business how i get my software.. i dont know you, so you dont ask these question right in the open.. like i said its inappropriate.. and definitely not ask if someone is rich, or imply that software is stolen.. thats just plain rude..

so ill tell you again.. use your brain before writing a comment to me.. i dont like stupid ass comments.. if people leave me stupid ass comments ill put it in their faces and show them its stupid.. just like i have done with you..

and yes, im a kid.. a kid with a working brain and very proud of my working brain.. so old timer, you got nothing on me.. you can only wish you could do what im doing here..

now please, stop replying to my comments and dont leave any other comments on my work.. i like getting feedback that is thought through.. i like comment from people that actually use their brain.. so please.. stay away from my work.. thank you..

UmarHard In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-02-01 12:08:31 +0000 UTC]

no m not talking about her m talking about your work. as I'm going forward in your gallery animation look cheaper. The previously done animations are more fine. That's what i meant, like this one is better than the next. great work!!!!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

SaphireNishi In reply to UmarHard [2013-02-02 13:37:48 +0000 UTC]

well thats because i used preset animation first.. now im doing them myself.. so of course there is a difference between them.. making perfect animation is not something you learn in a week.. that will take years to master.. as someone that is into 3d, you should have known that..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

UmarHard In reply to SaphireNishi [2013-02-02 18:10:16 +0000 UTC]

well great work. yea to master a year, but to learn organic it takes just a month for a good artist. like you did organic, as i have seen people (beginners) don't do it that organic in the beginning. actually those are not organic at all. but you are one of a really fine artist. you'd be thinking one month are you fucking kidding me. the key to learn it is observation and think it's easy. so yea a month. if you just concentrate on animation yea a month. And also to using presets you need a brain.
