For unknown contrived reasons Ava had to take a momentary lapse from the loop, so you were put in her place in a close-enough lookalike suit of her Tarr form. Since it was only a brief absence it was decided that your condition of release was to score a singular victory royale.

Unfortunately for you, it's *really* hard to shoot with the suits' mits, and really hard to move swiftly, and really hard to not stay cozied up on the ground with the thick layer of rubber absorbing most incoming damage. Ava returned months ago, and you can barely remember anything before this.
