I just tried my hand at this today (in my free time, I swear...? :S)... how bad do you think someone has to be at art to remark that "drawing chibi is more difficult than it sounds"?
I've been drawing face shapes and eye types for probably a total of two hours so far today, spread out, and I both haven't found a style to my comfort/liking, and haven't been able to draw consistently- almost every face comes out like it's been drawn by a different artist...That's AFTER I looked over the tutorials we can find online.
And I haven't even started on the body yet. 
But your chibi body is nice! How long does it usually take you to accomplish something like this?

One hour? Iunno... this was between three days, a lot of procrastination, and... er... taking my good ol' time. xD

Ah, I see. Somehow I always had it in my mind that people could draw their sketches and outlines in time periods of 5 minutes, but I think I realized in the past few days that that's sort of impossible... at least not unless you have some sort of super-talent, I guess?
In any case, I think it's a really good work- hopefully I'll be able to create my own with practice

Uh... heh... I know someone like that. She's... doing realisms now. *Grumbles.* She's one of the best artists I know, but no imagination for poses. It seems to be like how babies grow. With babies they're either a walker or a talker. With artists it's either posing or pretty. xD
