Dex squirmed anxiously, tugging at the leather straps holding him down.

“D-don't you think I should get an anesthesiologist?” The woman at his feet looked up, her perfectly styled hair bobbing up and down.

“No, you don’t get an anesthesiologist. What do you think this is, some kind of real hospital?” Dex looked her up and down, from her high heels to her skintight latex nurse’s costume.

“Right...” he whimpered, shrinking back when she waddled over and tightened the strap around his neck.

“Don't worry about a thing,” she ordered. “Doctor Stein is the best in his field.”

“Isn't that what all surgeons say?”

“Surgeon? No no, Doctor Stein is a teacher. We’ll be dissecting you today for his class. And tomorrow, and the next day, and the next!” Dex let out an alarmed squeak, but before he could protest further, the woman pressed a clear plastic mask to his face, fitting the large plug attached to it into his mouth with some difficulty. Dex gagged at the taste of coppery blood and sweat, shaking his head ineffectually when the mask was strapped behind his head. The nurse smiled at him and began rolling the table he was strapped to out of the room, ignoring the garbled screams that escaped the gag. Through the open doors, he could see a classroom filled with masked students, each holding an individual tray with various pieces of surgical equipment.

“Ah yes, here comes our specimen now. Everyone, this is Dex...”
