Edit: You know, when I did this page last night, I had to choose between finishing it, or playing my snes "Super Mario". It was a tough choice, but I prevailed! Ha ha! XDHere's page 4! This will probably be my last page I will submit before I leave for my mini-hiatus (see my journal for more info)
Didn't take too long, but boy it turned out good! I think I'm getting a little better at drawing in the Zim style. But I seriously need to work on backgrounds... I stink at perspective. (plus I'm not the patient type, so....)
Enjoy everyone! Page 5 coming... eventually! ^_^ (its probably my favorite page so far! Ha ha, if only you could see the rough draft... XD)

You do know that they're bringing back Invader Zim for two more seasons, right? "10 til Doom" was one of the seventeen episodes in the process of being animated when Nickelodeon cancelled the show back in 2003. They're going to finish the unfinished episodes and air them only if enough people buy their upcoming DVD on February 22nd, containing each and every OLD episode. So yeahhh..
Just to let you know, this comic really has no ordeal in anything since they're going to finish "10 til Doom" and the rest.
But I'm sure everyone appreciates you working before-hand to make this for them. :3

I already know of everything you just said. Still, Nickelodeon has a tendency to be fickle, and nothing has been 'for sure' yet. Besides, even if they do greenlight the project, it'll be the end of 2012 before any new episodes come out. It takes time to animate. (trust me - I should know since we're currently animating 10 Minutes Til Doom. Yikes, ha ha)

Yes, yes, I understand everything you just said, and I knew that as well. I am an animator on NewGrounds, so yes I know that animation takes a lot of patience and time, haha. I knew they wouldn't be out the minute they decided they were going to bring it back. I keep an open mind, I'm not stupid. xD
Even though I know they might bring it back, I appreciate the IZFAS group projects you are working on. But if they do bring back the new seasons... Where would all your hard work go? That's a random question I just thought of now...
But really, if you think about it, when they finish the episodes, you'd probably be finished before them, since you've been working on it longer than they have.
Hm. I was wondering if there is no other unfinished scripts from the studios were left for IZFAS to finish, then they'd have to make new plots or episodes themselves. I've had a few ideas bumping around in my head awhile. But I won't join IZFAS until I become better at animation, haha. I still need lots of practice. xD
Maybe in a year or two, I'd join. (:

IZFAS? Huh? I'm in no way affiliated with them. A friend and I work by the name of Soapy Waffles. IZFAS hasn't completed new ZIm animations in years.
The work isn't in vain. I was going to animate something anyways, and I just happened to pick Invader Zim. Before I attend animation college next year, I decided that I would animate unfinished IZ episodes for practice. So if the new episodes by Nickelodeon are made, whatever! I still had lots of fun doing it! Besides, what I'm doing is practically no different than fan art. So its like saying if Nickelodeon made new episodes, where would all the hard work of the billions of fan-artworks go? See what I mean? And yeah I think we'd probably finish an episode or two long before Nickelodeon decided to greenlight a new season (that's even IF they do... >.>)
I highly recommend not joining IZFAS right now anyways. It's under poor management at the moment, which means little progress is being made.

Yeah, I'm new to the whole thing. I hadn't known about IZFAS until a few weeks ago.
I actually saw, and it really didn't seem like they were getting anywhere with anything at all.
But I'm glad you gave me some advice to work with. I'll go with it from now on :3
And even if they start up the series again, people will still make fanart of the show, no matter what, so none will be lost.
