Progress is going well for our current work in progress Invader Zim: Mopiness of DOOM. This is one of the backgrounds I did for a particular scene in the episode.This background about KILLED me - so much detail x_x But it's good practice. I think I'm finally getting the hang of perspective (it's about time!). I think I'll be able to do fully rendered backgrounds in my future illustrations now. That's exciting

I like it, but it's too clean.you know how the backgrounds have filthiness in the real "invader zim" ? add more filth to make it look closer to the real thing. I think theres a setting in some version of photoshop that lets you do just that.freindly tip,thats all

Thanks for the tip ^_^ I'm well aware of the filth that most Invader Zim backgrounds have. However, I already knew this was a bit too 'clean', but that's because I didn't add all of the textures yet. With everything I had to do to this picture, I had forgotten to add them before submitting to deviantart. XD

VERY cool! The only thing I can think of to critisize is that some of the squares look almost too geometric; they could be a bit more natural. But that's a silly nitpicky thing, I think this is AWESOME.

Ha ha, thanks for the tip. They do look a bit geometric don't they? Ah well. This background only appears for 2 seconds in the entire episode, so I don't think viewers will have the time to notice such a detail XD

Oh wow, I sincerely apologize; that's pretty epic for a two-second shot. Kudos to you; I'd make it geometeric if I had to do backgrounds for tiny scenes as well. I can't wait to see the finished episode, by the way! Been losing interest in IZ lately, so I'm hoping that new stuff and maybe rewatching old episodes will maybe respark it... although maybe it's just time for me to more on. :/
