Another character for my story Star Wars: Kyras Rising.

Born on Batuu at the extreme edge of the Outer Rim Territories, Hela spent countless hours exploring the ruins around her home of Black Spire Outpost and became fascinated with the history of the civilization that previously inhabited them but lacked the skills to properly study the ruins and the artifacts within. That changed when she turned seventeen and met Garm Halcard, an archeologist from the University of Agamar. Under his tutelage, she learned of the ancient species known as the Rakata who inhabited the world prior to the decline of their race thousands of years ago. Leaving Batuu with him, she spent the next several years traveling throughout the galaxy, developing her archeological skills as well as her skill with a blaster. Sadly, during an excavation of the ruins of a Jedi temple on the planet Tabadus in the Outer Rim, Garm was killed by falling debris during an earthquake. Left with his ship, she embarked on her own solo career and eventually found her way to the world of Korriban. Traveling through the Valley of the Dark Lords, she observed the arrival of Imperial forces in the valley. Remaining hidden, she saw Darth Kyras entering, and later emerging from, the Tomb of Naga Sadow. Returning to her vessel, she traveled to Coruscant to inform the New Republic of what she saw.
