Description Standard disclaimer- this is NOT yaoi. Ok, I'm done XD

I know I keep drawing these two, they're just so adorable! Fakir taking care of Mytho = This I've had for a long while, and just slapped on some color during a short break (obviously) . My Inner Perfectionist is kvetching very loudly at the moment, but I don't care. Must sleep.....

Edit: the companion piece to this is here [link]

Okay, I know I probably should know what that means, but I have no idea, so...What's a BROTP?

Cybiline In reply to SisterRin-Rin [2013-06-24 06:00:55 +0000 UTC]

OTP stands for One True Pairing. BROTP, is a play on the word, saying it's a best friend, or 'bro-lationship' that you really love!

I don't know what Sorku is, but yeah, Fakytho and Frodo Gamgee are squee-inducing! (My Gundam Wing BROTPs rea 1x4 and 2x4....really, all of them! )

Ahhhh! And yes, it is! At least, I always enjoyed it. It's got a somewhat complex plot, though not as complex as a Dickens novel.

You know, they call Mytho 'Mute-senpai' in the japanese version. ^_^ Fakir is still Fakir.

Where are Mute's hands?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SapphireGamgee In reply to Bellona-Dancer [2011-05-08 23:33:41 +0000 UTC]

They do, yes ^__^ Fakir almost sounds like "Fakia" because they don't have the 'r' at the end of their words.

Mytho's hands are off-screen. They're just kind of laying there, so...no reason to have them XD

That's right, sorry XD Definitely watch it, if you have time, though. it is so much better than the title would indicate. It's well-conceived, surreal, interesting... I simply adore it! It's also pretty short- 26 episodes, I think.

No, I haven't...what is it?

Huh... I love it and didn't even know it was a trilogy... hrm...

Anyways...Princess Tutu. ...yeah. We had the Legat at boarding school, which is a Ballet school inside of St. Bede's. Bede's and Legat are actually two separate schools, even though it shared a building with the Performing Arts (drama) building/classes, and was right next to the boarding house. My boarding house. I had two... no three very good/dear friends in the program (bosom buddies, you know the like. ^_^ I knew other girls, but they were just good friends). Two guys and my room mate. The guys were just there, and you knew who they were (not many male ballet dancers XD), but Nina went chameleon in her leotard with her hair up. It was like playing 'Where's Waldo'. XD I had to actually consiously look for her, and let me tell you, even when I was looking for her, it was hard to find her. XD

"Can't you wave at me or something?" I asked exasperatedly. She shook her head, focusing on what she was doing. I looked up towards the winter sky, thinking. That'd mess up the routine, wouldn't it? Hmm... oh! "Well, couldn't you like- stare at me or something?" She looked up at me with one eyebrow quirked, a look that half said: 'What are you, crazy?' while the other half said: 'Interesting. Go on.' I smiled at her, feeling happy that she was interested. "Well, you know how I want to find you right?" a little pause where she just looked at me. Moving on. "Well, I figure- since you're supposed to paste a smile to your face for the audience and all, and I know that annoys you- it being practically cemented there and all-" She grinned at the stress on the word 'cemented' and giggled a little at the accuracy of the word. "-I thought that it might make it a little interesting for you if you tried to get me to recognize you." Another eyebrow quirk. "Cause, you know... when I was in preschool, we had a game, where you'd sit in the cafeteria, and try to get someone to turn around and look at you by boring your eyes into the back of their skull. Like, 'Look at me! Look at me! Turn around! I'm here!'" I said, putting on a little voice. Her eyes showed amusement. "So I figured that's what you could do." Her eyebrows shot up. I smiled. My random little stories always have a meaning when used in that context. "You could find me in the audience- and I'll try to find someplace to sit where it's easy to spot me- like the wall, the aisle, or the front row. And you could stare at me with that kind of intent until I recognize you- and you know me, I'm like an open book- ... just think, 'I'm here! I'm here!' -and I'll probably recognize you. It'll probably provide you some entertainment anyways... during the simpler steps anyways. 'Lets see if I can make her see me.'" I finished with my long, one-sided conversation, and looked down at her where she was bent over with her foot propped up on the fence outside the Performing Arts building, a little smile on my face. Nina was one of my favorite people. She really, really understood me. And for that, she was very important to me. She nodded, and I smiled. Yes! She'd try. This'd be fun!

She quirked an eyebrow, and I quirked my head to the side curiously. A smile peeked out as she saw my natural reaction.

"Preschool?" She asked. I shrugged, smiling happily, moving my hands that were in my coat pockets a little so that the cold unintentionally sneaked in, and I covered myself back up quickly.

"Elementary school, really, but 'preschool's' easier to say."

Thanks for the link! I'll have to wait until I have time, but I'll keep it in mind ^__^

But yeah, with your background, I really think you'd like Tutu. I grew up immersed in the arts (in my home, it was hardly there at school, sadly) , so it was like, "An anime with classical music in the background and a balletic theme??? SIGN ME UP!!" I knew all the classical pieces they used for the background music as well. That made me positively giddy

I would have loved to have friends in ballet...I would have spent hours drawing them in action XD

^_^ Then I wish I could introduce you mate. ^_^ They were beautiful. Still are, most likely. I just wouldn't be able to know for myself. I'm not there anymore. The way they danced was aweingly beautiful.

I guess I'll just have to try Tutu, and see if I like it. It's on youtube?

So, I tried to find the japanese, english subbed version on youtube, but it was all so muddled, so I googled it. I'm watching it on megavideo now. The 75 minute thing is really kind of frustrating.

The prince really is cute. Sweet. ^_^ Dancing cats and anteaters... strange...

I get you now. ^_^ I really is seriously cute> ^_^

I love it! It's just like all the fairy tales and such from Northern Europe. Mr. Cat amuses me so much XD And yes, the prince is adorable! He and Fakir are my favorite characters! I'm glad you like it so far. It just gets better and better ^__^

I'm a Fakir fan so far. ^_^ The other two are cute and sweet, but that gives me a figurative toothache after awhile. ^_^ If they are cotton candy, then Fakir is coffee (even though I've never had it).

It is so cute and hilarious when in episode 19, he runs and hides when ever she turns back. XD Lol! Kawaii!

XD He's so polite!
I've finished the series now.
For a long time, I thought that they were all 9-10 years old, but then as the series progressed, I saw that princess Tutu had 'little boobies'. XD So they are mature! XD

I like how- in the last episode- everything went back to normal. No more animal-people. Just animals and people. ^_^

SapphireGamgee In reply to Bellona-Dancer [2011-05-11 03:24:18 +0000 UTC]

*laughs* Yeah, it's the drawing style, I think. Fakir's around 17, from what I understand, and Mytho is...ageless XD . And Tutu is certainly supposed to be more... *developed* than Duck.

*nodnod* Though one still wants Fakir and Duck to get together somehow. It could happen XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Bellona-Dancer In reply to SapphireGamgee [2011-05-11 05:37:00 +0000 UTC]

Another reason why Fakia is one of the more attractive ones. He's mature. ^_^

Btw, this is random- but I just heard the cutest thing! My eldest brother, is organizing my dad's music files for him- and there's millions- and he came across a very special audio file.

It was one of my dad's music tracks- but that's not what made it special. ^_^

My little, 4-year-old self was singing along to it.

What a cute, little, under-developed voice! XD

"This is fun mama!" You can hear me say at one point, in all of my chilish, cute glory. ^_^
