Description
Kind of boring in the background, but aren't they all like that? XD Anyway, this is from an idea for a fan comic I had awhile back, featuring all the Disney Princesses pictured here. Might have one or two new ones come in later, but we'll see. Anyway, as it's treated like a 'boarding school' kind of thing, they're dressed in something like late Victorian (1880s-1890s) uniforms. Hey, it's Disney Time! XDTop row, left to right:
Megara, Cinderella, Belle, Pocahontas, Jane, Jasmine
Bottom Row, left to right:
Snow White, Ariel, Esmeralda, Kida, Mulan, Aurora

Just the last time I talked about her was in my Post Colonial Lit class, so yeah. Lit majors over anaylsis everything.

Totally understand. I wasn't even in one of those, and my family does the same thing XD We got so angry at the recent, totally inaccurate renditions of Jane Austen's 'Mansfield Park', and 'ride and Prejudice' (the Keira Knightly one). I think analyzing is fun, and slightly addictive XD

Yeah, but when your entire college career is devouted to that, it can ruin things for you. One woman has never forgiven my professor for ruining her childhood for the critism of Rudyard Kipling.

Really? Huh..... I guess part of college is to learn to hold to your own opinions, and forgive beloved childhood authors and artists, because in spite of their darkness, what they created was worthwhile.

Yeah, if you study anything long enough, it becomes twisted.

Yeah, which is why you should always try to think for yourself. If you really want a twisted view of childhood classics, try Gregory Maguire's books for adults.

I couldn't read it. I tend to stay away from sex, frankly.

To each her own. Try A Great and Terrible Beauty. It is young adult and Victorian, so it is sex free.

Yeah, it is known as the Gemma Doyle Trilogy. It follows as A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, and The Sweet Far Thing. Libba Bray is the authoress. Some death and a little kissing, but nothing scaring. Have you heard of the Once Upon a Time series? They are novelizations of popular fairy tales.

The best of Once Upon a Time is Snow by Tracy Lynn. Though Cameron Dokey's stuff is pretty good mostly. I liked Night Dance.

Well, look for them at your local library. Once Upon a Time are all paper back and I know that they probably carry Gemma Doyle Trilogy.

Well, I don't know that WB would have been bad...just different.
I mean, they came out with Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Tiny Toons, Freakazoid, the classic Looney Tunes....
And they did Iron Giant, which was BRILLIANT! But that's because it was Brad Bird, and the animation studio was closing down around them throughout production, and....
Ooh....sorry. Talking too much XD

Yeah your right about Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain etc..
Although i honestly never liked bugs bunny, he kinda creeped me out lol..i think thats what turned me off WB. I also prefer the whole fantasy aspect of Disney stuff.
And no worries, talk all you want!!
I guess maybe im just abit bias cause i love Disney so much, but classic 2D disney.. not this Disney/Pixar stuff haha

Really? I loved those old WB cartoons! Oh well XD
And Disney can't be doubted as the leader for a long time in animated genius But Pixar, oddly enough, is continuing the genius. Their movies are all exquisitely done, just what Disney would have insisted. And the writing, and the characters.....! So wonderful
