How could I have forgotten about this? It's been awhile since I posted any Watership Down art, so here's Rabscuttle, El-ahrairah's right-hand rabbit. (Should be "right-paw" ... ) I kind of like the idea that, like Holly (also Captain of an owsla) , his markings look like a helmet/cape ...sort of.Related content

Well, this one was sketched with a mechanical pencil and scanned into the computer, but these days I usually use Manga Studio or Photoshop.

I always wondered what Frith gave Rabscuttle at the end of 'El-ahrairah and the Black Rabbit of Inle.' You also get the impression that Rabscuttle looked very young and small--from impersonating a child in King Darzee's kingdom. Up to your usual standard, although the watermark obscures your work.

*nods* I always wondered that as well. But I never was able to figure it out. And, it's true! I may have made him a bit too large here...I'd forgotten just how "kitten-like" he could look!

Not sure... I always pronounced it "rab" (same 'a' as rat) and "scuttle" like the bird in the Little Mermaid. Yeah.

I really like that idea od the helmet :3 It also makes him stand ot from the other rabbits.
So do the white lines on his around his eyes.
I think that's fitting, because he's some sort of 'legendary' rabbit, you know, to me, he's supposed to look better than the avarage XD
