Wow, took me a while to post these, then again my old computer would'nt post or download or let me do anything! OH I HAVE A NEW COMPUTER~~~~So this is from a private photoshoot at AnimeNEXT 2011! I had a lot of fun at this shoot! It was awesome!
Oh and to those who I told about the shoot in a rude way, I'm sorry for my behavior and I hope you'll forgive me....
At the last minute our Sollux and our Bro AND our gamzee had to drop out! Luckily though, our Dave was also a Gamzee! But when she took Gamzee's place, we had no Dave. I came up with a solution!I begged my friend Mitch, who loved Dave and was planning on cosplaying him, to please be our Dave, and after some work, I got him to say yes! the Gamzee lent him her cosplay, and POOF, DAVE APPEAR! That left us without a bro, but when we met Octopimp at the friday meetup, we asked him if he'd help us out by being bro for us at the photoshoot, and he said yes! Unfortunately, we never got a replacement sollux, but i think things turned out great anyway!

It took me ten minutes to look through the entire picture a few times and I originally never saw Dirk and when I did I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair because I then realized he was holding lil cal and he was just so ninja and no mouth cosplay. I acted like any normal mature human being would act...

Hahaha, most of my friends were jelly too, I actually went to dinner with him, his friends, his girlfriend, and my friends! It was pretty cool, and he's a really cool guy!

It's always good to see others doing it~ Tho, I must admit I always feel like I can't amount to others cosplays (especially ~Temiisen 's Redglare and Terezi!) but I suppose I should use them as inspiration to try to do even better :3

I started cosplaying 4 years ago, and only recently started making them, so I've only made a couple :3 But all the ones that I've ever bought, I've modified to make them even better~ So I guess you could say some of them are joint projects :3 I'm really starting to make things 100% myself tho >w< In one cosplay, you can see I have a scythe, I made that myself and modded the costume I'm wearing in it~ I'm still modding it actually xD! Soon it's gonna be like, mostly stuff I made, haha! But anyway, I mostly styled wigs up until now, but am starting to go all out and make everything on my own, and even bought ones are slowly becoming partially made by me xD

oh i knw what you mean! when i was cosplaying hetalia for 3 years, 1 year into hetalia I was a homestuck fan, I LIKED HOMESTUCK BEFORE IT WAS MAINSTREAM AND IM PROUD X3, I either partially made them or thrift stored.

I liked Hetalia when it first came out, buuut I'm no longer associated with it xD some of the people are just so crazy, ya know D: ?

yep, and to be honest, the fandom has cooled down a lil because.... well.... I'm sorry if i insult anyone reading this but the bad fans, the weaboos and fandom jumpers that liked hetalia all jumped ship and reboarded onto the s.s.Homestuck and now the fandom is getting.... really... crazy.... and a big portion of the geeky community as i call it is considering being part of the homestuck fans/fandom/community as a bad thing, like naruto fans, hetalia fans, etc are considered because of how the fans acted. I know what you mean about hetalia, i kinda was sad to see it go....

Actually you'd be surprised, most Hetalia fans hate Homestuck :U Because it isn't Japanese. There are actually stories of Hetalia fans making HS cosplayers cry by telling them they should be ashamed of cosplaying non-anime at conventions, or some where HS cosplayers will get hurt at the hands of Hetalia cosplayers. All very upsetting :c

That's exactly how you should think to get better! I would only consider myself a decent cosplayer, esp after seeing temi's redglare, her gamzee, her dave, and pretty much ANY of her recent cosplays!!! same goes for amanda g (pheonix-cat) with her godtier vriska ( my sister, tavros made the hood though). Plus her mindfang which i think was also made my temi, plus maura's Dualscar is just AMAZING. However, i dont think I'll ever be as good as the gamzee poking out of my first nepeta picture, Phantomthief on ACPARADISE..... im sorry for rambling.Anyway, as long as you strive towards it, keep practicing and NEVER give up, you can be as good as them someday! Don't give up! I believe in you! If you ever need any tips/advice, I would be happy to give you some or get you some from my fellow cosplayer friends!!
