Description
Request for Kairi626Sora from YouTube [link]The mother lion is named Tara, and her cubs (from right to left) are named Loona, Tengo, and Larna.
The names are by Kairi626Sora, as well as the colors for Tara. The designs and the colors for the cubs are by me.
I don't know if this is exactly what they wanted but it's what I ended up with... haha. I just started drawing little symbols on the lions and couldn't stop! The symbols made them appear as if they almost had some sort of "spirit" or "god-like" properties to them, so I chose to make them the guardians of the forest. They rule over the lands and make sure everything is peaceful and stuff.
I worked on this at a resolution of around 16,000 pixels for the height, and I don't know what the other dimension was. Unfortunately when I resized it, some of the coloring of the lions "bumped" downward. So it's out of the lines a bit. I have NO idea why that happened as the color was locked to the lineart. Weird stuff... anyways, it's not very noticeable but just thought I'd say that.
The pose for Tara is referenced from "The Art of Animal Drawing" by Ken Hultgren. The pose is not identical, but I used it as a base for her as I wasn't sure how to position her back leg.

Lol, yeah, I love it There are a lot of cool poses and tips. I especially love the caricature sections. They almost always look so goofy.

Nice touch with the markings here
That's why i don't work big then go small, I fear losing too much detail when down sizing x3
But it's still a good picture.

Yeah usually I'm not that intense with the size lol. I was working 28x20 to start (inches) but I set it for 300 pixels per square inch to improve the quality... and then it got huge!
Thanks ^^
