My deviation number 100, and is a very very special one!!Well, this October has been VERY EXTRAORDINARY for me. Because, thanks to my dear dear friend Tak, I have had the honor of meeting STAR TREK.
I have to recognize I was of that kind of people who had a irrational hate to Star Trek, even without haven´t seen the series or the movies; only because I loved Star Wars. I thought that a person can´t be trekkie and warie at the same time.
I was completely wrong.
Fortunately made me see the movies. And I have discovered the wonderful, wonderful story; the wonderful, wonderful characters.
And I have learn that a person can be Warie and Trekkie; if you love the good cinema and sic-fi movies, its absurd to reject one of these marvelous sagas.
So, this is the first of many more comics. Hope you like it! Dedicated to, obviously,

My dad is a total Trekkie but he still likes Star Wars so it's possible to like both. Kirk and Spock so cute, like young boys. I think Spock is supposed to be blushing green though (I've read that Vulcans have green blood). Vulcanos? I think you mean Vulcans, unless Bones is making fun of him or something. Spock has kind of made me think of someone with Asperger's sometimes, he doesn't always get social cues and non-verbals, like someone's making of him (it would explain why Sheldon Cooper relates to him so much).

Yes of course is possible to love both stories, if you are a passionate of sci-fi and nice adventure stories (or if simply you like great movies!)
Yes I really like how look Kirk, Spock and the other characters in the new Star Trek saga by J.J Abrams. They are younger, inexpert and sooo moving. (And the good think is they didn't "erase" the old characters, im fact, these are they in the future!)
Sorry I see now the mistake!! xD ‘Vulcano’ is the name in spanish! I will correct it 
And Spock is my favorite character!! His behaviour is sometimes annoying, but at the same time so funny and inocent. He never notices when someone is joking or laughting because of him xDD

Star Trek es suuuper cool!! lo amo más que Star wars, pero ambos me gustan mucho! me da gusto que lo has visto con mente abierta y lo has aceptado, es muy divertida la serie, y definitivamente son cosas muy diferentes! ambas disfrutables

Eso es genial!!! Es completamente cierto, ambas series son increíbles, y creo que tenemos muchísima suerte de poder verlas y disfrutarlas! Además, generación tras generación, siguen creciendo y encandilando a mucha gente, y eso es fantástico!

You can absolutely enjoy both. There is no need to treat the two franchises like opposing political parties. I hate when fans act that way.

I TOTALLY AGREE. Is a very weird way of thinking... I think the most radical fanatics must change their minds and give a try to the "dark side" (either SW or ST). I am so happy right know for meeting those great series... I would lose much if I hadn´t give up and take a look to Star Trek!

It's funny I was the other way around XD I loved StarTrek but "didn't like" Star Wars just cause I thought the two were so different that if you liked one you couldn't like the other. Then my mom had me watch the first 3 Star Wars and I actually like it quite a bit XD

I saw Star Trek and Star Trek: into the Darkness, both by JJ Abrams! But now I am looking for the original tv series and the original movies also, I find those really interesting!! And of course, waiting for Star Trek: Beyond, which is going to be released in DVD soon, I hope!!

Let's see.... here are all the series in chronological order that they were released. Star Trek the Original Series , Star Trek The Animated Series , Star Trek The Next Generation , Star Trek Deep Space Nine , Star Trek Voyager , and Star Trek Enterprise . Those are just the TV series, there are quite a few movies that I can't remember the order that go in between those. But I personally think the series are what really give you the best feel of the characters. Oh and the animated series are just an animated version of the Original Series crew. The JJ Abrams movies take place in an alternate timeline and are a spin off of the Original Series characters. I hope this helps you out! Navigating the very huge fandom of Star Trek can be confusing at first XD
