Vulpes zerda, Fennec fox of Fennec
The Fennec is a smal nocturnal fox found in the Sahara of North Africa.
Its very large ears serve to dissipate heat.
The Fennec is the smallest species of candid in the world.
It mainly eats insects, small mammals and birds.

The Fennec weighs about 0,68 - 1,6 kg (1,5 - 3,5 lb) and has a body length
24- 41 cm (9 - 16 inch)
