What makes this so realistic is that less is more, you didn't combine 50 different shades to make one effect. That simplicity is lacking in a lot of the gore horror movies and everything I have seen. Blood doesn't pour out it trickles, very realistic. People could learn from this.

hmmm. i tried this today and it didn't turn out quite as amazing as i had hoped. My first time using wax, and it was all smooshy when i tried to apply color. i'll keep working at it though. Thanks for the inspiration! i love your version. simply great.

awwww! thank you
wax can go really soft depending on where it is & heat. its meant for places on the body that have very little movement (like a forehead, etc) also you can get sealer for it so it paints better good luck! im sure you'll get it!

eaaahh! i'm finding the first one the grossest, like when you get a cut and put a bandaid over it and when you take it off it hasn't healed and it's gone all white and swollen with water...

lonesoldier54 [2012-05-29 05:31:40 +0000 UTC]
no way, that's fantastic!! After you've done it, I mean applied the makeup do you ever forget about it and then look at you like 'ouch!!' How did that happen?? And why doesn't it hurt? lol!! I would

bahaha! that would be so funny! :3 i havent yet though!
i think i've become desensitized to anything involving gore
like i'm always looking at real injuries for ideas. hahaha

One's pain and injury becomes a means for another expression of creativity. How cool is that? So long as no one is actually getting hurt on purpose, that would just be wrong.

strange how that works isn't it haha. but really, you can't make it if you don't know what the real thing looks like right?
i cant even imagine how much a lot of the things i see hurt. those poor people

awesome!
however, the drip coming out has a slightly off color than that of real blood... should it be darker, perhaps?
but if i didnt know it was fake, id never be able to tell.
