Well so I'm working on the enchantixes for my girls from the saphryx Club and I'm currently working on Yuka,Yuka's outfit generally are very Japanese inspired clothing, so I wanted this kimono feel, but not a full body kimono (if that even makes sense XD)
now this is my first time drawing a kimono and I've been spending hours so far on research and so far this is what I made. (ignore the crappy ass shading)
I know the sleeves are a bit messed up and I know normally an enchantix has the gloves but I wanted it to be more original then just the same old gloves again XD
The design obviously isn't finished yet, it needs a lot of details still and the colours aren't decided yet either. Went with purple and such now, cause Yuka has purple in her mw
Can anyone, that has ever drawn a kimono, give me some feedback on it? Anything that can help me should be fine XD

Well Aria (My OC from Angelix Union) is really Japanese inspired and i have sketched out a kimono for her and i am just as a newbie as you so .. it looks really nice good except the thing that is on her arm (I have no idea what to call it) it looks dull

Alright but i actually was wondering should i leave Astra's purple light hair or go for a different color? (If a different color let me know) cause i can always keep it cause her hair turns to two different colors Purple (Normal) and Silverish (Full Moon Power).

I think the purple really suits her though. If you would go for a different colour I would say go with something darker, that might suit her to ^^

Unless her power is death you might want to switch the slope's side. A kimono goes left over right, not the other way around. The only people who wear a kimono right over left (like Yuka here) are the dead. Such a fold indicates that the person wearing it is deceased. For example; Maragold wears her kimono left over right, yet her brother's pixie wears his right over left because of his power (his kimono is also white as white is the colour of death in many Asian cultures/countries).

You're very welcome! If you Google right you can find loads of stuff on kimono information, like how the folds actually work, the designs, colour schemes etc ^^
