oh realy nice ... a real skill ... hmm I think her face looks a bit odd (only a little bit
) it could use a bit more shading ... I know this is a bit older deviation but it realy catched my eye

I agree with ErinFaye. Your pencil work is great, and you really seem to have a grasp for how to use each of the colors your set provides you, however, it is very, very different drawing live and drawing from a photo. This still is a very good drawing, very beautiful.

I notice on a lot of your deviations you only use stock photos. Honestly, as an art major/student, I would like to see work like this instead of manipulated photos from other peoples works and stocks. The best advice I have ever got from anyone on dA was this...and I pass it on to you. Maybe you should spend more time doing your natural instincts then spending time behind a computer. This is the only deviation out of everything you've done that I can appriciate. It's alright to manipulate photos, but there is a fine line drawn. Drawings like these come from what you see in your eyes and heart.

Hmm.. thank you for the comment. I do more drawing now-a-days than manipulations, however, to pass time at home I do the digital art. Speaking as how I plan on going into graphic design/photography/& web design.. a major part of my intended majors are digital, and the use of stock images.
I get what you're saying, and I really do appreciate it, I just don't know if I agree with it entirely. I realize that it is your opinion, and view on things, and I respect that.
Just because you can't appreciate my digital art, doesn't mean that it's any less special to me or anyone else.

Thank you. I still don't know if I'm quite finished with the portrait itself, as I only worked on it for two days. I will probably smooth out some shading still yet.
