heheheheeahem.
Was digging around in the files I abandoned before haring off all over half the world and found a scribble draft for this...i liekz it. Finally figured out a way to draw Mello's bangs that I actually like, though the poofiness of the whole thing bugs me a little...

I'm not sure if it's possible to mark a folder or not...I know you can comment on one though, so it seems a little weird that they wouldn't let you fav one....
Thanks! I'm probably not as into dn as I was a bit ago, but yeah, I did used to spend a lot of time mulling it over. I really appreciate stories that give you space to consider the characters and situation more deeply, and the whole bit about the House really did that for me.

if you can paint faces on teeny little finger puppets, i'm sure you can paint nails hehe. i used to have a friend who did really good frogs out of rocks, and his sister and her friends always begged him to do designs and flowers and stuff on their nails for prom--that's where i got the idea.
