Description
A Library I built in the ancient-styled city-part. We decided to publish our books so everyone on the server could read them. This building has an additional security-feature. If you get followed by hostile mobs into the building (which is already very difficult) you can flick a lever on top of the stairs that pushes one line up and renders the stair impossible to climb. Also a chest with bow + arrows opens up, so you can eliminate any hostile targets in sight. That optional security-function was a special wish from myself, since I am definitly NOT going to write those books again <.<Related content

That looks outstanding! It's unfortunate that glass panes can't be molded to upside down stairs for better window arches. I might have to use this on the creeper's lab survival server as a reference. I'd never thought to build a library! Airships, the Taj Mahal, maybe... but a library?

those arent even glass panes tbh
the walls are actually 2 blocks thick (security 'n' stuff since I'm reeeally paranoid about my written books), so the outer wall makes the arch and the inner walls has full glass blocks instead ^^
And a good library was pretty much one of the only theme-buildings missing to our City
