See, I mixed up which weekends Father's Day was on, and so I didn't start my gift for my dad until, um... earlier this week. ^.^;

But since I /was/ late with it, I thought I'd go all out and make something really nice for Dad. So, he gets a large drawing of a dragon. I'll update this with a better picture when it's done - but this is a work in progress shot for the curious. Look, ma, I'm actually taking my time on this piece!

The paper this is on is 17 inches wide and 14 inches tall. Obviously those are different dimensions than pictured here, BUT the center section is the most done part of it, so... figured I'd zoom in a bit so you could see the details The mane is the only part properly finished.

The outline is india ink pen, and the coloring is prismacolor pencils.

When I'm done, the mane will be as pictured. The scales will be dark, reddish purple, and the wings'll be green. The background... I don't know, yet.
