Description I think and try
Putting down words
Just to scribble them out
Bludgeoning my brain
For the perfect phrase
The exact line I am looking for
But it’s just not there
I promised you
I would write a poem
All about how I see you
But I find myself phailing
I just can’t describe you
You are so similar to me
But somehow
Someway
You are also so different
Impossible to simplify into
A poem, mere words, but here I go.
You are, in part
Friend hugs and wrestling
(Even though I always lose)
And not-quite-biking down your road.
You are my addiction to peach rings
(my supplier too)
And my introduction into stalkee-dom
You are more than I could ever say
You are my Maggie!
